MIF Scholarship Opening Feb 9, 2026 - Closing March 20, 2026
Byron Serves as President of the Foundation.
From a young age, I have been called to leadership, ministry, and service. My close friendship with Maxumus Isaiah Fraser, whom I knew since sixth grade, deeply shaped my life. Max was a bright, compassionate, and entrepreneurial spirit, and his passing inspired me to establish The To The Max Foundation. This Foundation honors his life and values, promoting hope, growth, and encouragement for young people. With the support of Max’s family, friends, and the community, we continue his legacy. In addition to leading the Foundation, I serve as Minister in Charge of Revival Church – Baltimore, formerly Youth Praise Ministries, where Max also served as a Trustee, remaining committed to faith, service, and meaningful impact.
Kimora Serves as Vice President of the Foundation.
Hello, my name is Kimora Thompson, and I am currently a student at Morgan State University. I have been close friends with Max since the 10th grade of high school, and our friendship has had a lasting impact on my life. Knowing Max for so many years makes being a part of the To the Max Foundation incredibly meaningful and personal to me. This foundation is more than an organization it represents love, purpose, and the power of community, and it is truly a blessing to be able to contribute to something that honors Max’s legacy. Throughout my academic and personal journey, I have developed strong leadership skills and have learned the importance of being a dependable team player. I take pride in working well with others, stepping up when leadership is needed, and always putting forth my best effort. I am a hardworking and driven individual with a strong business mindset, and I strive to carry myself as a young businesswoman who values integrity, dedication, and growth. Being part of the To the Max Foundation allows me to use these skills and qualities to serve others, uplift my community, and make a meaningful difference. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be involved and to contribute my heart, effort, and passion to a cause that means so much to me.
Elizabeth Serves as Secretary of the Foundation.
My passion for leadership, community, and service began early in my life and has only grown stronger over time. I met Max in middle school, and our relationship quickly became one like brother and sister. He had a natural drive for business, a deep care for people, and a gift for bringing others together. Watching the way he moved through life inspired me to pursue work that focuses on wellness, growth, and giving back. After his passing, I felt a responsibility to continue the impact he started. Through The To The Max Foundation, I am committed to serving our community, supporting young people, and creating spaces where encouragement, opportunity, and purpose can thrive, all in honor of Max’s legacy.
Sahira Serves as Treasurer of the Foundation.
During medical school, I realized that becoming a pediatrician would provide me with the privilege of guiding families to help their children reach their greatest potential. Since 2000, it has given me great joy to build relationships with families and witness their resilience as they navigate life through numerous physical and mental health challenges. I will bring the same servant leadership that my profession has required to The To The Max Foundation as we strive to help youth become the best version of themselves.
Valerie Serves as Financial Secretary of the Foundation.
I serve as an Executive Board Member of the To The Max Foundation, an organization created and dedicated in the loving memory of my son and my king, Maxumus I. Fraser. This foundation represents the continuation of Max’s vision, a vision rooted in compassion, resilience, and the belief that no young person should feel alone or afraid to speak up about their mental health. At a remarkably young age, Max showed wisdom far beyond his years. His strength, generosity, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had an extraordinary ability to see people for who they were and to uplift those who were struggling. It is my honor to carry his spirit forward and to ensure that his legacy continues to create safe spaces, open conversations, and meaningful support for youth facing mental health challenges. My commitment to this foundation is deeply personal. I am passionate about advocating for young people who suffer in silence, those who feel unheard, misunderstood, or fearful of asking for help. Through honesty, empathy, and action, I am dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness and helping youth recognize their worth, strength, and voice. Professionally, I bring over 30 years of experience in banking and leadership, with a strong background in strategic planning, financial oversight, governance, and organizational development. I have led teams, managed complex operations, and upheld the highest standards of integrity and accountability. These skills allow me to contribute meaningfully to the foundation’s sustainability, growth, and long term impact. Serving on the board of the To The Max Foundation is more than a role. It is a promise to honor Maxumus, to protect his legacy, and to help transform pain into purpose by supporting youth mental health with compassion, courage, and unwavering dedication.
