The To The Max Foundation Scholarship Fund empowers young adults to pursue trade education or entrepreneurial endeavors, honoring the legacy of Maxumus Fraser. Our goal is to help driven individuals build purpose-driven careers, develop self-sufficiency, and positively impact their communities.

Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in a community college program related to one of the approved trades above.
Applicants pursuing vocational, technical, or entrepreneurial programs outside of this list may request special consideration, which will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
Applicants must:
Be 16–25 years old
Be enrolled in or accepted to a trade school, apprenticeship, certification program, or actively building a registered business or business plan
Be a Maryland resident (Baltimore City & County preferred)
Demonstrate personal growth, resilience, and positive character
Community involvement (mentorship, volunteer work, church/ministry participation) is preferred but not required

Three letter of recommendations (teacher, mentor, employer, pastor, coach, or community leader, PDF Upload )

Selection Criteria
Applications are evaluated on:
Commitment to trade or entrepreneurship: 35%
Personal story & resilience: 25%
Community involvement / leadership: 20%
Recommendation quality/GPA: 10%
Professionalism of application: 10%
We look for candidates who demonstrate perseverance through adversity, purpose-driven goals, leadership, moral character, and a desire to give back to their community.
Disbursement
The amount you receive will be billed to your student account at your enrolled educational/trade or vocational institution.
Expectations of Recipients
Recipients agree to:
Provide updates on progress 6 months after receiving the award
Attend a recognition ceremony or foundation event (virtual option available)
Represent The To The Max Foundation with excellence and integrity
Scholarship Timeline & Awards
Applications Open: February 9, 2026
Applications Close: March 20, 2026
Review & Selection Period: April 1 – April 30, 2026
Recipient Announcement: May 1, 2026 (online and via social media)
Formal Check Presentation: At the To The Max Day event TBD.
Award Amount:
Scholarship funds range from $500 to $2,500. Awardees range between 1-4 individuals.
